Chicago is a GREAT city full of rich culture, tradition, and diversity! It is globally recognized as the second most prestigious city in the nation in terms of culture, entertainment, and finance. Founded in 1833, Chicago is the third-most populated major city in the U.S. Bring the story of Jean Baptiste Pointe du Sable, a man of mixed African and European heritage, known as the first non-indeginous settler of Chicago, and who is recognized as the Founder of Chicago by the state of Illinois and the city of Chicago, to your students and/or  local community.  Performance venues include schools, theatres, historical societies, museums, libraries, youth groups, and community centers for audiences age 7 years and beyond.

The Experience...
An approximate 10 minute first person narrative (monologue) with Q & A  session afterwards, in costume, chronicling the life of Jean Baptiste Point du Sable, The Founder of Chicago. Estimated total presentation time between 30 to 40 minutes.
